The ICA Festival aims to honour the creativity and dedication students have demonstrated during their rigorous yet rewarding educational journey, while also serving as a platform to introduce their work to professionals in the industry.
Theme: Embrace Liminality

Liminality is that in-between space in the creative process, the uncertain, sometimes uncomfortable, and often overlooked. But it’s also where the magic happens, right before a new idea takes shape.
With this theme, we’re encouraging people not to shy away from the unknown. Instead, lean into it. Embrace the uncertainty, the messiness, the quiet before the breakthrough. It’s in this space that real growth, bold ideas, and meaningful creative expression are born.
I played a key role in creating the official catalogue for the ICA Festival, a publication that showcased the final-year projects of students across all the courses. The team was tasked with gathering and organising all student-submitted content, including project descriptions, visuals, and introducing the student.
The layout design focused on giving each student’s work to stand out, while maintaining a cohesive and consistent visual language across the catalogue. Typography, grid systems, visual hierarchy, and flow were all carefully considered to reflect the festival’s theme.
